Beach day!!

Oh how I love the beach! 

Anybody who knows me well knows I love the beach! 

I hadn't been there for 2 years because of 

having babies and all and some people 

take little tiny babes to the beach but we just weren't up for it. 

And even this year we were hesitant but I talked 

my hubby in to it. 

I didn't care what it took I wanted to go. We sat on towels, only 

took a few snacks, one bucket, two shovels, 

and spent 6 hours on the beach! 

It was SO NICE!!

It was different than any other beach trip I have taken 

because I have never gone with 3 little girls before. 

But it was great! 

I have a dream or a fantasy or whatever you want to call it of 

living at the beach some day. Even if its only temporary. 

I just want to live there for an extended period 

of time at some point in my life. 

There is something so beautiful and wonderful about the beach. 

I don't know if my fascination with it is because I 

barely ever went as a kid or if it has to do with its vast-endlessness, 

or what but I just LOVE it! 

So experiencing it with my little 2 for the first time was 

really special! 

This wagon was a life saver! so getting one of  our own! 

Yes I'm here!! Hello beach!! How I've missed you! 

She was instantly in love! 

She didn't know what to think about the water.

But loved the sand!

Cheeseeeee!!!

Can't wait to go back!!!!!!!!!!!!

Noni girl is 5!!!

I can not believe it! 

I know everyone says that but I just can't! 

My first born, my little girl, 

my Nonah Mae is 5 years old! 

Its slowly sinking in. 

This is going to be a big year for her. 

Lots going on , lots of learning,

growing, becoming more independent.

We are so proud of her and 

amazed at what a neat little person she is.

I could go on and on about how much 

we love her and what 

we love about her but I will spare you. 

We thank God for her daily and  we 

love being her parents! 

And we hope she knows how special she is!!
We have been doing lots of celebrating!!

I can't help but think about all of the details of her birth!

9 wonderful Years!!!

That is the day I married the man of my dreams!

He is my everything! 

We make such a great team! 

God picked us and matched us up perfectly! 

I cannot believe its already been 9 years yet in the 

grand scheme of things that is nothing compared

to the lifetime of years we have ahead of us.

We have lived in 5 different homes.

We have traveled to 3 different countries.

We have had our ups and downs.

We have added 3 little girls to our family. 

We have become homeowners.

We have grown spiritually. 

And most of all we have grown closer together.

Life would not be the same without my Petey! 

He did such a good job with our anniversary this year. 

The past few years have been lets say quite unexciting.

But this year he planned everything.

Even set up a babysitter himself. 

And surprised me with a date to the tattoo 

parlor and some sushi!!

And he got me a pottery goblet that has 

been on my wishlist for a long time!

We have wanted to get a matching or "couples" tattoo for a while 

but didn't know what to get. Peter thought 

of this for our ring fingers.

Happy August!!

August is my favorite month of the year!! 

I just love it! Ever since I was 

a kid I just loved August. 

It probably has something to do with the fact that my 

birthday is in August. 

Our wedding Anniversary is in August so that 

makes it a fun month. 

And we became parents in the month of 

August to our first little girl! 

But besides those things I still love August. 

Its the hottest month of the year! 

Its the last month of Summer 

which is sad but makes me kick it into 

high gear and do 

all the fun Summer things that we haven't 

done yet before 

it starts getting cooler. 

I am in my glory at this time of year! 

I am hoping for some HOT weather it has 

been quite cool around here and we haven't

been using our pool very much.

We will be doing as much swimming 

as we can and we have 

a beach trip planned 

and some picnics. So we will 

be busy! 

I also will be starting to think about school. 

We are homeschooling my 

Noni girl this year, our first year!! yikes! 

(thats a whole other post) 

I don't know what else to say I just love it!

4 year Dreadiversary!!!!

Its been 4 years already! I made it! My dreads are well established 

and I don't have to do much of anything to them! 

Sometimes I will crochet loose pieces but 

I don't really have time to. 

Dreads are perfect for this time of my life. 

They are such low maintenance. I already have to do 

2 little girlies hair, its nice not having to worry about mine. 

They are getting so long! 

People ask me how long I will keep them and the answer is: 

I have no idea. 

I am not even considering cutting 

them right now. I luv them! 

I am all about expressing myself in the way I dress/look and 

I feel like dreads are so ME!!

So for now they are here to stay!! 

A little side note: my hubby might get dreads some day!! 

He would look so hot with dreads:) We will see!
