Shes 5 months!

Oh where does the time go?? My Opal Rayne is five months old already and changing so much. She is rolling back and forth, talking and babbling a lot. Every chance she gets she is trying to sit up and if Im holding her and holding something in my hand she has to reach out and grab it. She will not take a pacifier. She is sleeping less than she was but is still a really good sleeper. Shes nursing like a champ! She deals with her sisters love and attention very well and is def a mamas girl!

Nonah & Evey

SISTERS!! These two have grown so close this summer! Some days they are best friends and other days worst enemies but I seriously think they would not know what to do without each other. I know their bond is only going to grow stronger and stronger and I am loving watching it! I am accepting the squabbles and disagreements as part of the journey and going to help guide them through. Intervening when necessary and letting them figure it out when they can. (Its easier said then done but Im trying) So thankful that they have each other!

My new hobby...hula hooping!

I love watching hoop dancing and think it is so neat! I have wanted to do it for a while and finally decided to just go for it! (I feel like most of my teenage/adult life I have felt like "I could never do that" and recently, with my husbands encouragement, I've been saying "why not") So with my one friends help and YouTubes how to videos I started. I got some poly pro and some duck tape and I made some of my own hoops for me and Noni. Shes doing it with me! Oh and Evey. She just pulls the hoop around and says mine and sits and holds it. So cute! I am hoping to continue to do it and learn and it cam be something I do with all of my girls as they get older. We'll see.

We watch YouTube videos together to learn new tricks and then go out and try it. It takes A LOT of practice, more than I can give to it, but I try and pick it up every day for atleast 15 min or so. Noni picks it up so quickly and has even taught me somethings. It's so fun and its not only really great exercise its good for your digestive system!
