As of August 26th I am 30 years old!
Its hard to believe but it feels good!!
I have always wanted to do a post where I share things about
myself but I didn't think I could come up with
that many things but I am going to give it a try.
Some of you may know some of these things and some
of you may not.
So enjoy getting to know ME!!
1. I have lots of freckles and used to hate them, now I love them!
2. I feel naked if I don't have nail polish on, I paint them once a week.
3. I have had dreads for 5 years and no I do not know when I will get rid of them, maybe never!
4. I always loved dreads even when I was in high school but didn't have the guts to do it back then.
5. I am a homeschool mama! I used to think homeschoolers were weird and I would NEVER do that. HA!
6. Becoming a mama has been the most amazing blessing, I can't even put into words how much I luv it!
7. My hubby and I were both voted "most friendly" in high school.
8. I have a twin brother and always wished I had a twin sister instead. Srry Ikey, luv ya!
9. I would LUV to own my own cafe some day.
10. I am obsessed with really good coffee... Like Starbucks.
11. I am drawn to anything African, and would love to go there/live there some day.
12. I do see my hubby and I doing mission work in the future although it scares me.
13. I don't know where I'd be if it wasn't for God bringing me my hubby. His plan is perfect.
14. Although I did not love our home when we bought it, I love it now yet I could leave it in a heartbeat. If that makes sense.
15. I have 3 tattoos and want more! :)
16. My favorite sent is Patchouli.
17. I love love love Summer, everything about it, which you all know probably but its like something in me is wired with the season and my heart is truly happy in the Summer.
18. Some places I want to some day are Hawaii, Jamaica, Ireland, California and Wyoming. Random I know.
19. My mom is a triplet, I am a twin, and I reeeeaaallllyyyy wanted twins!!!
20. I always wanted to be either a ballerina or a gymnast. Ha a ballerina with dreads, thats funny!!
21. I so long for my girls to be good friends and maybe even best friends.
22. I never thought I would adopt a child but it just feels so right.
23. I want to learn how to hoop dance, Im on my way but have a long way to go.
24. I am passionate about birth and breastfeeding and love encouraging other mamas. I may be a doula some day.
25. My favorite type of food is Mexican but Thai is a really close second.
26. I like silly TV shows like Americas next top model and American Idol and The Voice.
27. I don't have a favorite movie, lots of good ones but no favorite.
28. I only like reading if its a topic I like. Otherwise reading puts me to sleep. I wish I read more though.
29. I see my celiac disease as a blessing. It forces me to eat better than I would if I didn't have it.
30. I would luv to travel the country in an RV some day with my hubby. With or without kids.
I am PROUD to be 30!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't complain life is good!!
I am truly so thankful for who God made me to be and would not be who I am and where I am today without HIM!
