Boys and Girls; Girls and Boys

Little boys and little girls are so different. It is so funny how they just naturally are different. They are drawn to different things and act different. Today at Barnes N Noble Noni was playing at the train table and she was by herself for a while. Carefully lining up 4 trains in a row trying to pull them all the way around the track without having them fall off. Then a little boy came up a little older then her and started grabbing a few trains, making noises, crashing them and even leaning so hard on the table it moved. Its fine, there is nothing wrong with what he did it is just so funny how different boys and girls are.
Then he asked his mom to read him a book and Noni wanted me to read her a book too. As I read Noni a "Princess Tea Party" book I could over hear the other mom reading her son a book about Pirates. I smiled. Its just funny how different boys and girls are. I am just not used to boy stuff. Noni would never pick up a pirate book for me to read.
I am a little surprised how girly my girl is becoming. When I first had Noni I didn't want to buy a single piece of pink clothing or purple truthfully. I wanted more neutral colors and just nothing real girly. Well I have come a long way because my Noni girl wears pink pretty much every day. Purple is her favorite color right now and she loves dresses and skirts. I LOVE IT! The girlier (?is that a work?) it is the better. It is so fun to pick out her outfits (if she will let me, since about 18 months old she has had something to say about what she wears). She loves jewelery, shoes, and nail polish. I love it! When I was younger I imagined having my own little girl and doing her hair and nails and now I have 2 girls. I am so happy that God blessed me with girls. He has given me the desire of my heart. I can't wait to see what Evey is going to be like as she gets older.

All that being said about loving the girlyness of my girls I really do hope to have a boy. I want to experience raising a boy and that mother son relationship. But we will see! Maybe I'm only meant to have girls.
{I am not preggo just thinking ahead} *feeling so blessed* :)
