Kind of random but Noni decided we should make a fort inorder to watch the Grinch, so we did!

After the girls went to bed I watched "Its a Wonderful Life" because it just ain't Christmas Eve

without it.

Christmas morning Noni was the last one up. We actually got her up a little after 8.

If you know me well you know I looove pictures. I love taking pics of my girls and looking back 

and remembering things about them when they were that little. So I asked a friend 

to take some pics of me and my girls together. I got some ideas from pinterest and the girls cooperated 

really well. I did bribe Evey with a lollipop towards the end but I am happy with them.

Christmas time!

Although I very much dislike winter I do love Christmas and it would not

be the same if it wasn't cold. But last Saturday we had some 

beautiful weather to go get a tree. My dad owns 

a tree farm so it's a no brainer that we are going to go get a fresh one. My 

hubby used to work for my dad so getting a tree isn't really a big deal for

us but its still a fun experience for the kiddies.

-poor Noni was sick and was really not into it this year. :(

-we got a tall skinny one this year.

*Thanksgiving*

We had a pretty uneventful day. Me and the girls watched the parade in the morning. Well 

I did. Noni liked the dancing parts and Evey danced with the songs off and on

but every thing inbetween they were a little bored with. Opal and Evey were sick with

a cold so it made for some cranky babies. Opal especially was really 

really uncomfortable. She slept most of the day on mama. 

SO I was struggling to be thankful that day. : /

We had dinner at my moms! The menu was Turkey (duh), corn pudding, 

roasted red beets and rudabega, greenbean almondine, stuffing- regular

and gluten free, rolls, homemade apple sauce, pumpkin and pecan pie (gluten free), 

and tapioca pudding. Oh and yummy potato candy made by my mom-mom!

I think that was everything; it was delicious!

They don't get to see eachother much these days so they were off 

playing the whole time.

Opal's 1st Thanksgiving! She was in the Ergo pretty much the whole night. 

She was miserable. :(

Oppy-girl is 7 Months!

This was a big month for little Opal! She started sitting up the day after she turned six months.

Then just a few days later she started getting 2 teeth on the bottom. I have started some 

solids with her and man she is not interested. I started both my other girls around 

five months and it takes a little bit for them to get used to it but then they get it. 

But she just doesn't want it. It's ok though, "food for fun til they are one" is the maddo (splg?) we 

follow so we have time. 

Then out of no where she started crawling. She already follows me to the next room. It's a 

slow and steady crawl and she stops and takes a breaks but if she wants to

get somewhere she gets there. 

Her mobility really changes things. I have to keep an eye on her so she doesn't get into 

anything she shouldn't. Her sisters are a big help and Evey is constantly saying 

"No Opal." So I have to go check on her and some of the time she really 

is getting into something she shouldn't but other times Evey is just being bossy.

And she just started at 6 months to take a pacifier. 

There never is a dull moment in this house that is for sure!!! 

Leaf play~

It is really hard for me to hang out outside for any length of time in this cold weather. I REALLY don't 

like the cold. But the other day while we waited for daddy to get home from work 

I bundled everyone up and we went out to play in the leaves. And it was 

so worth it! The girls had a blast! 

My Birthday Girl!

Evey is 2!!

I love making my girls feel special on their birthday! Its not only a celebration 

of them and their life but its also a celebration for me! A special day to 

remember what I was doing 2 years ago! I was giving birth to my 

beautiful Evey Magnolia! I became a mama again! And that is something to celebrate! Together! 

Their birthdays will always be a special day for them and for me!! 

Evey has recently become obsessed with Veggie Tales so that's the "theme" 

we decided to go with! I thought a Bob the tomato cake was simple enough to do

but still something fun for her.
