21 things...

21 things I love about Summer! Summer is my favorite season! And since the 21st of June makes it officially Summer I started thinking about why I love Summer so much. So here goes 21 things I love about summer.

1. Sunshine- Soo much sunshine!

2. Flip-flops and/or barefoot 

3. Painted toes-that can actually be seen instead of stuffed in socks n shoes!

4. Sun tanned skin

5. Windows open-fresh air blowing in is so wonderful!

6. Morning coffee on my patio

7. Blanket picnics-any where any time

8. Green grass/leaves-everything is green and vibrant and thriving!

9. Grilled food-mmmm!

10. Farm stand/farmers markets in every town!

11. Pick your own...

12. The BEACH-one of my favorite places in the world!

13. Running-we prefer running in the heat, and have more time to do it.

14. Backyard BBQs with friends and family!

15. Flowers! Pretty flowers every where!  They make me happy!

16. Water play! Sprinkler, pool, a bucket, kids love water and entertains them for hours!

17. Gardening! I'm no pro but I do find joy in growing my own little garden!

18. Tank top n shorts! It's so much easier to get dressed in the summer then layering up in winter!

19. Fireworks-there's no fireworks in the Winter?!

20. The smell of fresh cut grass!

21. Hanging wash out on the wash line! Laundry is my favorite part of housework! Its therapeutic!

Birdies chirping, blue sky, oh did I mention sunshine?

So there you have it, 21 reasons and I could keep going! So Happy Summer everyone!

~Sisters~

These two girlies are growing so close! It is so sweet to watch them interact

and play. In the past 6 months their friendship has really evolved. 

Now that Evey is able to talk and communicate better

and Nonah can deal with her better.

I think being trapped inside so much this winter also forced them

to find things to do together and play and get along. 

Evey has within the past month started just 

loving everything Nonah. Whatever Nonah does she wants to do it too. 

Whatever she is playing thats what she wants too. 

I think she already looks up to her. 

There also has been a new found sweetness.   

Lots of "I love yous" and hugs. 

Of course their are still fights and disagreements that we 

have to work out but thats to be expected. 

We are working on teaching them how to solve their

problems on their own. (its a process)

I just am so happy they have each other and its so fun to watch 

their bond grow!

 

 

 

 

My Mothers Day...

it was a gorgeous day spent mostly outside!

Peter made me breakfast and we had sushi for dinner. 

They got me paisley wall decorations that I really wanted. 

Handmade cards. 

So loved. So blessed.

They call me mama!

These 3 little girlies are why I am going to be celebrating this weekend!! 

Its still hard to wrap my head around sometimes. 

I AM A MAMA!!  

AND not just that, I am a mama to 3 little girls! 

They are my world right now and I am the guide of their world and 

that is a crazy and beautiful thing! 

They are helping me grow in so many ways. 

Every day is a challenge but every day is an oppurtunity to 

let them know how much I love them! To hold them close, to teach them something new,

 to take care of them, to make them laugh, to show them how special they are. 

I LOVE being a MAMA but I truly could not do it

without my amazing man, husband, partner in life! 

I am so glad he is on this journey of life with me.

I truly feel SO blessed to be called mama!  

Easter...a little late!

We decided to go the non Easter candy route this year! 

Easter candy can be such a rip off. 

I was so excited to give them their baskets not because

of the candy but because of the special gift 

we found.

Elsa dolls! A friend of ours found them in the 

back room at work. 

Someone forgot to put them out so 

he thought of us. 

We have looked every where for Elsa and could

Not find her, so I was super excited 

to give them their dolls!

She was SO happy!

I just had so many sweet pics of my girl and wanted to share them here. 

I can't believe she is one. Already. 

The past year is kind of a blur. With 3 girlies to 

care for, entertain, and divide my time 

the time just flies by. 

I am truly trying to enjoy my days at challenging stage

because I know I will never get this day back. 

They are only little once!!
