Our 4th!!

Our holiday in pictures!!

Two picnics, late nights, festive outfits,

festive nails, sparklers and poppers, 

 lots of food and lots of fun!

LiFe these DaYs

Life these days has been busy busy busy! 

But its ok because I like staying busy. 

The biggest thing recently is that we are officially

foster parents. Yay!

It's been 4 weeks since I got the call and picked

up baby J! She is 9 months old today!!

(unfortunatly I am not allowed to share pics on here)

She is so sweet and mellow and

blends into our family quite well. 

Everyone has been adjusting pretty

well. It's different then I expected.

(more on that in another post.)

Here is what we have been up to!

 My little gymnast did her end of the year show! 

So proud to watch her up on that stage. 

She has learned how to do a cartwheel, backbend,

bridge, all kinds of rolls and is getting

more and more flexible. 

She will be starting a back hand spring class 

fot the summer!

The pool is open! yay! As long as the sun is out 

we swim pretty much every day!

 Family hike! One of our favorite things is enjoying 

the outdoors together as a fam. 

Noni my little nature girl loves looking 

for birds with daddy or any kind

of unique treasure to put in her 

nature box. Her new favorite thing is

frog hunting! She was so mad when

we had to leave. 

 Evey loved dancing on the logs!

 First time wearing their new bathing suits and 

first time running through the sprinkler! Fun day!

 PINK HAIR!! We have had fun playing with 

colors in the girls hair. Pink is their

favorite!

 I lOVE love LOVE making my outdoor spaces look 

pretty and full of color. 

Flowers are my fave!!

 Our tree! When we take baby J for her visits 

me and the girls hang out here! 

First time finger painting. Yea 3rd kid has to wait 

a while to experience some firsts. 

Life is Good!

~Celebrating Motherhood~

I know Mothers day is just another day.

Just another halmark holiday. Right?!

BUT for me this day is a sweet, precious,

and joyful, my-heart-is-so-full kind 

of day! 

I love to reminisce and look back at my journey

of becoming a mama.

My pregnancies.

The excitement, the unknown, the preparing

 and anticipation of what 

was coming,  

  And yes the birth. 

I have such fond memories of laboring

at home and sharing such special

moments with my hubby 

while bring our babies into the world.

Yes it was hard and painful, of course but 

it was SO amazing. 

Then the best part of all, the moment

when we get to meet our baby... 

it's just bliss.

That first hour after they are born 

when we get to know them and look at them 

for the first time ever,

Oh I will never forget those moments. 

This is the moment I became a mama!!

And again to Opal Rayne!

These beautiful girls have fulfilled my dream of becoming a mother!
I am so blessed by them!
I love watching them grow up and
turn in to their own person.
My daily prayer is to truly live in the moment and
savor my days with them
because I know they are limited.
I have already seen how fast time
flies by.
There are days that I feel worn out and
if somebody says "mama" one
more time I am going to freak out
but that's part of it.
I love it. The good, bad and the ugly.
I love it!!
Being a mother/mama is a wonderful gift! 

 My girls know me so well! 

When daddy asked what we should 

do for mom they 

all said go to "STARBUCKS."

So we did, and went to 

a local bakery that sells gluten free

goodies. 

And we also went to get some 

daisys but came home

with a hanging fern for my 

bedroom instead

which has been on my list of 

things to get for a long time. 

So mama is happy!

P.S. We may be adding to our nest sooner rather then later!! 

We are legally foster parents!

Training and homestudy are done and approved! 

Just waiting for a match now! Yay!

She's 3 already!

I can't believe it, time flies when 

you are having fun!

Opal is a little sweetheart. A little feisty. 

And so beautiful!

It's so neat to see her turn into her own 

little person!

She absolutely loves her sisters, 

yes they fight at times but she loves them!

She loves anything to do with Frozen, 

she loves shoes,

and playing outside, and 

 playing babies with her sisters.

We did lots of celebrating the past week!
